I Don't Have Anything Useful to Say

But God Does.

I've never blogged before, nor did I ever think I would have anything useful to say. Because the truth is, I don't.  

Yet here I am.

The things that are to come on this blog are simply things that God had taught me or is teaching me. I don't want this to be a cry for attention.  Everyone has to get their thoughts out somehow.  Much like Job's friend Elihu said, the wisdom I share (if any) comes from God above, not me (Job 36:3).

I hope that in the posts that follow, whether Christian or skeptic, you find wisdom and encouragement. By God's grace I won't make a mess of things.

So What's the Point?  

I face doubts, fears, failures, questions, and confusion about the life I'm called to live.  I have no doubt many other Christians do as well.

But no one wants to talk about them.

However, we also receive revelations, answers, encouragement, and clarity. We never have a problem taking about those.

It's time we put off the "everything's fine" mask.  It's time to admit that we as Christians don't have all the answers.

But we DO have the One who already has the answers. Praise God for Jesus.
